Workplace Safety Award for Clark Nuber
(Bellevue, WA) The Association of Washington Business (AWB) recently honored Clark Nuber with a Better Workplace Award in the category of Workplace Safety. The AWB Better Workplace Awards honor member companies that demonstrate innovation in the areas of workplace safety, job training and advancement, and benefit and compensation programs. Clark Nuber created a unique Passport to Safety program which included employee contests with prizes based on individual preparedness, classes, workshops and tools, emergency handbooks, an emergency hotline, technology safeguards for business data, and a new Safety Task Force. Clark Nuber employees also produced a safety video titled "Do's and Don'ts of Safety" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jgw7rta70U).
"This program is part of our business continuation plan to safeguard our firm and staff in case of natural disasters", said Tracy White, Clark Nuber's Senior Director of Human Resources.
