Clark Nuber Principal, Pete Miller, Receives Chapter President of the Year Award
(Bellevue, WA) The Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA) Board of Directors announced that Pete Miller, a Principal in Clark Nuber's audit practice, was chosen to receive the 2008-2009 Chapter President of the Year Award for outstanding leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Bellevue Chapter.
Pete is the current President of the Bellevue Chapter and was chosen to receive this award for many reasons. Under his leadership, the Bellevue Chapter designed their meetings and yearly goals to mirror those of the WSCPA. Pete challenged the board this year to really think outside the box. He led a planning group to explore other activities to make the chapter "essential" to the CPAs in their area. He is also emerging as a mentor to the young professionals on his board, giving them more opportunity to lead and building a strong succession plan for his board.
Headquartered in the Seattle Metropolitan Area, Clark Nuber employs nearly 160 people with the expertise to provide commercial business owners, and leaders in notfor- profit organizations, as well as high-net-worth individuals, with a wide variety of services, including, financial statement audits, tax planning and compliance, state and local tax consulting, CFO/Controller/accounting services, estate planning, and specialty audits including benefit plans and government grants.
